Obituary of Mariette M. Gorsline

Mariette M. Gorsline, 90, of Third Avenue, Kingston, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. She was born July 29, 1923 in Cap-De-La-Madeleine, Quebec, Canada to the late Edward and Antoinette (Rochfort) Monfett. She was a member of St. Peter's Church and had worked at Jacobson's Shirt Factory. Mariette is survived by her husband, Robert J. Gorsline; daughters, Karen Daniels and her husband Robert of Alton, NH and Cheryl Spielberg of Poughkeepsie, NY; Grandchildren, Kimberly VanWormer, James Hewitt, Lindsey Daniels, Rebecca Daniels, Diana Daniels and Robert Daniels; 6 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert J. Gorsline, Jr, a daughter, Barbara Ann Gorsline and siblings, Jacqueline Boivert, Roger Monfett, Guy Monfett, Raymond Monfette and Mary Clausen. Friends and relatives will be received Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston,, NY. Funeral procession will form 9:15 am Monday at the funeral home thence proceed to St. Peter's Church where at 10:00 am a Mass of Christian Burial will be sung. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
